Hi, I’m a consultant working in Data. A hands-on Lead Engineer, fearlessly building skilled, productive engineering teams and helping them build best in class data solutions, mostly in the wonderful world of Microsoft Azure. This includes the design and implementation of frameworks and harnesses to ensure the safe yet effective use of AI across the entire data development lifecycle. You can’t vibe data…don’t make me tap the sign.
Skills
- All your usual Azure Data skills ranging from Fabric (and all that entails), Azure Synapse and Data Factory, ADLS to integration type resources such as Logic and Function Apps.
- Very much an Agile person, with all the usual disciplines and ceremonies.
- Managing a team, resource management and upskilling/training.
- Customer management, leading technical calls.
- Enabling the safe, standardised and effective use multiple AI models using Github Copilot and Claude Code.
Projects
- Traditional ingestion, data cleansing to data warehouse using medallion structure across a 3 or 4 environment structure.
- Data integrations.
- Purview and Master data management.
- PoC development enabling customers to grow their skills and understanding.

- Led multiple engineering teams.
- Delivered multiple consecutive projects, often against tight timelines and limited resources.
- Worked across many verticals, including health, local council, financial and NPO.
